How we line up a product comparison

A comparison is only useful when the rows match. We keep the same spec labels across a group, call out the lowest saved price, and leave a blank instead of inventing a number we do not have.

Start with the job the product has to do. Headphones for a commute and headphones for a desk are not the same shortlist. Once the job is clear, the table can stay short: price, rating, the two or three specs that change the decision, and a way out to the seller.

The Buy on Amazon button opens the product page. If an affiliate link is saved, that link is used. The price on Compare Deals UK is the last price saved in the catalog. Confirm the live price on Amazon before you check out.

Your own comparison list holds up to five products. Editor picks, when they are set, open a ready-made lineup. Both are there so you can see the same facts in the same order.
